Opmerkingen

Global Avantgarde Mexico 13 (no.40) and 10-12 (other issues); Diagramming Modernity p.449 (other issues). Crisol (1929-1958) was published by the Mexican Bloc of Intellectual Workers and championed a revolutionary ideology that supported the working masses. It played an important role in the formation of the National Revolutionary Party in 1929. Among its objectives was the creation of a magazine that would contribute to clarifying the ideology of the Revolution. In terms of literature, priority was given to poetry and literature with a social and proletarian content, to texts that refer to the socialization of art or the relationships between social struggle, revolution, art and literature.
