AUTOGRAPH LETTERS and 6 AUTOGRAPH POSTCARDS, all SIGNED "Bertus", to Kees Lekkerkerker ("Beste Kees"), dated between 18 May 1944 and undated [=1946], all pen and ink (1x pencil), each 1 leaf, mainly recto and verso (2 letters accompanying resp. 5 and 8 lvs. with AUTOGRAPH POEMS, all recto only), various sizes, 7x w. orig. autogr. addressed envelope. "(...) Neen, deze Omne Animal kan ik niet voor je krijgen. (...) Dat ding kost f50, iets waar ik geen flauw vermoeden van had. Er zijn er minstens 300 van gedrukt. Er is dus al met al een bedrag van 15 mille mee gemoeid geweest. Daarvan heb ik zegge en schrijve 200 gulden gehad" [18/07/1944]; "(...) Maar wil jij dan af en toe mijn copie eens doornemen. Ik ben nl.l. een ware brekebeen in Holland's Taal (...)" [22/07/1944]; "(...) Hoe maak je het. De berichten die ons over A'dam bereiken zijn bedroevend. Hiet gaat het wel, wat eten betreft.
