Anmerkungen
Taevernier 18. "The subject is a bronze bust which used to decorate the chimney-piece in the Rousseau's drawing-room. Only a few prints of this dry-point exist. It has rapidly lost the velvety quality of the burr in the plate." SEE ILLUSTRATION PLATE XI.
